key enterprise of agricultural industrialization of Henan Province,
with the registered fund of 62 million RMB, the assets of 134.38 million

meters, and 1334 hectare of peony planting base, and 666 hectare of
green-making nursery stock base, now the Group has the following subordinated

Plants Market of wholesale and retail, the Luoyang Urban Construction
Engineering Co., Ltd, the Luoyang Information Web of Peony etc.
The company¡¯s main
running scope is something as follow, the agriculture production¡¯s
sale and product such as the peony planting, green nursery stock,
vegetables and fruits etc. designing and working on for city gardening
and green-making project, product and sale of the artificial climate
house (green house),developing and utilizing of information technology.
In September 1997
the Group invested 12 million RMB to set up the Luoyang Huayi Agricultural
Technology Development Co., Ltd (now the name is the Luoyang Longhong
Gardening Co., Ltd). We imported some advanced technical equipment
from Israel and set up four intelligent greenhouse that controlled
by computer completely in Luoyang high-tech industrial zone ,which
the area is 24 thousand square meters , the main products are some
top-grade flowers and plants and vegetables such as the peony, poinsettia,
cyclamen, cormous flowers crabapple. Now the Huayi¡¯s flowers and plants
and nursery stock have become a famous trademark in Henan province,
while Huayi is honored the famous brand in china.
The company invested more than 20 million
RMB to set up the China Peony Garden at Anle town of Luolong district
in 2000,with the area of 732 hectare, it gathers the marketable nursery
stock, production and sales, and sightseeing, in the garden there
are 173 hectare area as a tourist spot, 266 hectare as marketable
nursery stock planting area, 100 hectare as the resources of the variety
of peony, 100 hectare as marketable seedling planting area of grafted
peony .The annual sales volume of the garden is 2 million for the
marketable peony,2 million branches fresh cut flowers of peony and
herbaceous peony, and 1 million plant for peony grafting seedling.
After many times practically investigation and negotiation the company
made a cooperative agreement to develop poinsettia and lily planting
with the Taiwan Hongda Gardening Co., Ltd and the Guangzhou Hongyan
Company in May 2001.the company invested 5 million RMB and rented
266 hectare fields at Mangshan area to set up the Luoyang Fengxiang
Flowers and Plants Co., Ltd in July 2002.at October of 2002 in order
to promote the development of industrialization of Luoyang Peony.with
the cooperation of the institutes of scientific research ,the Group
invested 7million RMB to product the potted peony with the process
control of factory, at the beginning planned to product 100 thousand
pots of potted peony flowers,50 thousand pots of potted herbaceous
peony .while in 2002 the company¡¯s output was 15 thousand pots of
potted peony flowers of accelerated blossom,60 thousand pots of top
grade potted poinsettia,20 thousand pots of potted French cyclamen,10
thousand pots of Japanese cormous flowering crabapple,5 thousand pots
of American colorful horse-shoe lotus flower,80 thousand pots of the
southern plants of the ornamental leaves.
At may of 2001 the
company with the Agriculture and Economy College of Henna Province
established altogether the vocational class of peony specialty, and
the class will enroll the students from the country. Among 3 years
the class will train 500 students in this specific field to the country.
Also the company set up the Luoyang Peony Web to strengthen the communication
in the web and this promotes the Luoyang peony to go to the world.
In 2000 the Huayi Group was bestowed the Scientific Advanced Enterprise
of Henan Province by the Ministry of Science and Technology of Henan
Province, in 2002 was honored the leading enterprise of agricultural
industrialization of Henan Province.
In order to run well
the Luoyang Peony, one of the four famous tourist brand of Henan Province,
and to promote the commercialization of peony planting, from the June
of 2000 the company began to set up offices in Zhengzhou,Guangzhou
,Chongqing and Xi¡¯an cities, also combined the several famous enterprises
